The hit-makers of The Family Man and Farzi, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, have premiered their latest criminal comedy, Guns & Gulaabs. Netflix is currently streaming the show, which stars Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, and Gulshan Devaiah. Raj and DK were particular about casting the program, which they referred to as a “love letter to the ’90s,” with the right actors. Looking for Gun and Gulab Audience reviews. See details below.
The two directors recently discussed how they chose Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, and Gulshan Devaiah for their respective characters Panna Tipu, Arjun Verma, Chhota Ganchi, and Atmaram in an interview for indianexpress.com’s Creator X Creator.
Rajkummar was the first actor who came to mind when they wanted to create the show, and they began by talking about him. Raj explained, “We knew what he could produce, therefore we kind of fixed him for the character of Tipu. We were working with him again at the moment. We knew what we could accomplish with him at Stree. Even in your serious roles, Raj, I always find you to be funny, I always told him. What I intended to say was that, even when you view him as a diabolical character, there’s a certain thrill. There are some actors you might like seeing, and there are some things that make you grin.
Rajkummar, like Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man and Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in Farzi, DK said, imparted a “extra dimension” to the role of Panna Tipu. “There are several performers who do the necessary tasks. When you watch it, you think, “He was perfect for the role, he did a good job.” They do a good job. Then there are actors who add a depth to the performance that goes beyond what is written in the script. I can simply point out that Manoj Bajpayee achieved that in Family Man, just as Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi did in Farzi.

Audience reviews Review of the Guns and Gulaabs Netflix series
Review 1
The great geniuses behind Family Man and Farzi’s new dark comedy series, Raj & DK, have caught my attention. The cast of this television show, which features Dulquer Salman, Rajkumar Rao, and Adarsh Gourav, immerses us in the fascinating world of the opium trade and the characters’ involvement in it.
The writers’ distinctive storytelling approach is immediately apparent in the first episode. The story begins slowly and steadily builds expectation and tension. And just when you think you understand the plot, the episode’s final minute comes on you like a gust of wind, leaving you wanting more.
Raj & DK have historically produced consistently high-caliber work, so it is safe to assume that this new series won’t be any different. Their talent for weaving interesting and intriguing stories and their gift for adding the ideal amount of sardonic humor produce an outstanding viewing experience.
You may be confident that this series will meet your expectations if you enjoyed their prior work. And if you’re unfamiliar with their storytelling abilities, get ready to be enthralled by their distinctive and novel approach to making movies.
The nicest thing is that DQ speaks in English dubbing as well. It is available in all the major languages.

Review 2:
There isn’t enough gun powder in RAJ & Dk’s New 7 episode Guns and Gulab to make a perfect headshot, nor is there a beautiful rose-like story with thorns and layers to impress the audience.
Although the show claims to be a comedy crime thriller, it only depicts routine crime and drug-related business and offers little in the way of humor.
Although Rajkumar and Dulqer give strong performances, the tale cannot hold your attention until the very end.
Simply put, unless you have lots of time to waste—which I did—a show isn’t worth your time. ^_^
Review 3:
What was the purpose of this series? Like I took my time attempting to comprehend the series’ overall point. Nothing seemed to fit. There was no logic.
A gangster named Babu Tiger dies suddenly, and his son doesn’t care since he wants a girl. The same female who is his teacher is being pursued by his brother. Son of Babu Tiger kills two people. I could go on, but there’s really no point.
What was this? I get the impression that the author tried to make a connection but was unsuccessful. Why waste money on such a pointless series? Sorry, but I wasn’t impressed.
